Dual Pitch Skylights - SKY 2
 
All skylight designs are based upon standard design principles, adapted to suit individual project requirements.
- Self supporting up to 8000mm span possible (depending on the pitch). Low pitches and larger spans will require underlying support structure.
- Minimum slope pitch of 7 degrees.
- Lowest overall system U values of 1.5W/m2K, achievable using glass units with a centre pane U value of 1.1W/m2K.
- Frame widths of 50mm or 60mm.
- Can be designed to be classified as non fragile to CWCT TN 66 & 67.
- Super Durable MATT polyester powder coat finish as standard, guaranteed for 30 years. Metallic finishes and anodised finish also available.
- Dual colour (different colour outside and inside).
- Glass Units: To suit the project requirements, but minimum specification is -
- Outer - 6 mm soft coat low-E heat soaked toughened.
- Cavity – 16mm argon filled with silicone edge seal.
- Inner – 8.8mm laminated.
- Electrically operated opening windows for natural ventilation or smoke ventilation to EN12101-2:2003.
- External flashings manufacture from 1.5mm or 2.0mm grade 3103 aluminium sheet.
